Today, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honour the courage and sacrifice of the first responders who ran toward danger to help others.
We remember the 343 FDNY firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice that day, along with the many first responders who have since lost their lives to 9/11-related illnesses.

We will never forget.

This week, three police services are grieving the devastating loss of members to su***de.
Peterborough Professional Fire Fighters Association stands in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in policing, their families, colleagues, friends, and the communities they served.

Behind the uniform is a person. A parent, partner, friend, teammate. The weight carried by those who serve our communities is not always visible, and no one should have to carry it alone.

To every first responder struggling in silence: you matter. Your life matters. Reaching out is strength.

We mourn alongside our policing family and honour the lives and service of those lost. 🖤💙❤️

Three services. Three heartbreaking losses. One first responder family standing together.
