We had a booked tour today for a birthday and this lovely couple from South Africa happened along at just the right time. They were on a schedule to get to Victoria Playhouse Petrolia so they enjoyed the 15 minute condensed tour!

Our sincere thanks to Justin, Pamela, Liam, Quinten and Sawyer Clark for their generous donation to repair the masonry on the Fitzgerald Rig. Masonry work was done by Bill Dokter Masonry and will ensure this heritage gem lasts another 123 years.

LAST OPEN DAY FOR 2026 is Sunday August 23rd.

Our summer visitor season will be done a bit early this year as our amazing tour guides will be leaving for post secondary school.

Pending volunteer availability, off season tours can be booked by contacting us by phone, messenger or email.

Fall events include Military History in Action on October 3rd and Kiwanis Club of Petrolia and Area, Ontario Fiery Faces October 22-25.
*Volunteers are needed for these events, please contact us if you’re able to help.
