I thank you all, the residents of Pickering Ward 1 for the incredible support for my campaign. I’ve been listening, and the message is clear, we deserve a City Councillor who fights for our priorities.

My commitment to you is built on four pillars of action:

Fiscal Responsibility: Your hard-earned tax dollars must be managed with discipline and transparency.

Sustainable Growth: Smart development that enhances our community rather than overwhelming it.

Seniors Advocacy: Ensuring our long-time residents are supported, respected, and heard.

This evening, I volunteered with the Ajax Pickering ROAD WATCH team on Spruce Hill Rd between Strouds Lane and Aspen Rd to support a speed awareness initiative following concerns raised by local residents.

In a 40 km/h zone, a few vehicles were travelling as fast as 57 km/h and 61 km/h.

Please slow down, and help keep our streets safe for children, families, seniors, cyclists, and everyone who calls Pickering home. ♥️

Together, we can make our community safer.

Every family deserves to feel safe when children are walking to school, seniors are out for an evening stroll, or neighbours are simply enjoying their community. ❤️

Safer streets. Better lighting. Sidewalks that truly connect our neighbourhoods.

Priya is committed to real traffic calming measures, improved residential street safety, and community programs that work hand-in-hand with law enforcement to help create safer, stronger communities. 🚦

So grateful to volunteer at the annual BBQ fundraiser hosted by Diana Winsor and Garry Winsor, in partnership with Pickering West Shore Community Association, PWSCA and Fairport Beach Neighbourhood Association.

Events like these remind me what makes our community so special — neighbours coming together to support important local organizations St. Paul's on-the-Hill Community Food Bank, DARS, and Pickering Animal Services.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered, donated, and helped make the day a success. Together, we can continue building a stronger, more caring community. ❤️

Hello Ward 1,

June is Seniors Month in Ontario, and I wanted to take a moment to recognize a very special part of our community — our seniors. ❤️

The seniors in Ward 1 helped build the community we know and love today. They raised families here, worked hard, volunteered, supported local organizations, and helped shape the neighbourhoods we proudly call home.

They gave so much to our community.

And now, it's our turn to give back.

I believe our seniors deserve more than appreciation — they deserve action. They deserve a councillor who listens, who understands their needs, and who truly has their back.

That means advocating for meaningful seniors' property tax relief, supporting independent living spaces, and ensuring our seniors can live with dignity, connection, safety, and the quality of life they deserve.

Because every neighbour deserves to be heard — especially those who spent a lifetime building our community.

To all the seniors in Ward 1: thank you. We see you, we appreciate you, and we value everything you’ve done.
