“We the community of Queen Elizabeth, together, will create a safe, respectful and positive learning atmosphere where each person is supported on their journey to greatness” Queen Elizabeth School, where the motto is “Supporting students on their journey to greatness” is situated in the heart of Picton in picturesque Prince Edward County and serves approximately 275 Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8
. Queen Elizabeth School is a Healthy Active School Community which provides a dynamic and enthusiastic learning environment by enhancing learning through the use of technology (netbooks and IPads). Outdoors, the playground has a soccer field and numerous play structures fundraised by the schools very active Parent council. Celebrations of learning are evident in school spirit days, reading challenges, family literacy nights, school teams, and participation in band and choir festivals, Terrific Kid Awards, Tiger Success Awards, Perfect Attendance Awards and much more. The entire school works each day to show everyone that we are able to make a difference in the school, in the community and on a global scale.
