Rock The Boat Co****le Challenge!

Think you've got the perfect toss? Grab a partner and join the Rock The Boat Co****le Challenge for an evening of friendly competition on the Pictou Waterfront. Whether you're playing to win or just looking for some family fun, this casual tournament is open to all skill levels.

Registration:
-Free to enter
-Use the online form in the link to pre-registration and reserve your spot.
-Walk-up registrations will be accepted if space is available.
-Teams of 2 players.

Two divisions:
-Kids Division (12 & under)
-Adult Division (13+)

Format:
-The Rock The Boat Co****le Challenge is designed to be fun, fast-paced, and easy for everyone to enjoy.​
-Teams will be matched against another registered team as they become available.
-Every team is guaranteed one game.
-Games are played to 15 points or a 10-minute time limit, whichever comes first.
-If the time limit is reached, the team with the highest score wins.
-Event volunteers will record all scores.
-Winning teams will be ranked by point differential (points scored minus points allowed).
-If teams are tied in point differential, a one-round "Closest to the Hole" playoff (one bag per player) will determine the winner.
-The top-ranked team in each division will be crowned the Rock The Boat Co****le Challenge Champion.

Basic Rules:
Players alternate throws.
Each player throws four bags per round.
3 points for a bag through the hole.
1 point for a bag resting on the board.

Event Schedule:
6:00-6:30 PM: Team check-in
6:30 PM: Kids and Adult Challenge begins
8:00 PM: Championship playoff
8:30 PM: Prize presentation

Runner-Up - Family Size Ice Cream Party

Adult Division:
First Place: Award & locally handcrafted co****le set

As you get ready to splash, play, and cool off this summer, please take a moment to review the splash pad rules on the poster below. A few simple guidelines help keep the space safe, clean, and fun for everyone.

Please remember that the splash pad is not supervised, and children should be within sight of a caregiver at all times.

We are starting Tuesday, July 7th at 6 pm. You can register onsite that night.

UPDATE: Tonight’s hike at Fitzpatrick Mountain has been postponed.

Due to the rainy weather over the past few days, the trail is expected to be muddy and may have unsafe footing conditions. We will share the rescheduled date as soon as it has been confirmed. Thank you for your understanding!

Our next hike will take place on the Kutawtimnu Trail in Pictou Landing on July 8 at 7:00 p.m. Please note the later start time for this hike.
