FCSS has shared its September monthly message in recognition of World Su***de Prevention Day and this year's theme, "Changing the Narrative on Su***de."

The campaign encourages moving from silence and stigma toward openness, understanding, and support. Su***de is preventable, and talking openly, showing compassion, and listening without judgment can make a difference.

A Centennial Celebration to Remember

Over the past weekend, we witnessed the very best of Picture Butte.

We saw old friends reconnect, families share memories, visitors return home after decades away, and a community come together to celebrate 100 years of history.

Town Administration would like to recognize the many committees, volunteers, sponsors, organizations, staff, elected officials, and residents who helped make this milestone celebration such a success.

📢 PARADE ROUTE PARKING REMINDER 📢

The Jamboree Days Parade starts at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 15!

To help ensure a safe and enjoyable event for everyone, please make sure your vehicle is parked off the parade route before the parade begins. Keeping the route clear allows for participants, spectators, and emergency vehicles to move safely throughout the event.

🐾 Dog Park Access Update 🐾

Please be advised that the south entrance to the Picture Butte Dog Park is temporarily closed due to construction activities related to the new childcare centre development.

✅ The dog park remains open and can be accessed through the north entrance during construction.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as this important project moves forward. The new childcare facility will provide much-needed childcare spaces for local families and is an investment in the future of our community.

Please follow all posted signage and construction safety barriers when visiting the area.
