The Happy Bookers have chosen "The Block party," by Jamie Day, for the month of September! There's been a murder on Alton Road at the annual summer block party, but who did it? All the neighbors have secrets to hide.

Discussion will take place at the library Wednesday September 23rd, at 7 o'clock PM.

This title can be found on the hoopla app in audiobook format, and there are limited paper copies at the library for patrons that would like to join the discussion.

Pierson Branch has tickets available for Prairie Vision Arts Council's upcoming shows at the Melita Strand Theatre! The "Fall Fashion Show" is September 27th, and the "Ryan Keown Band concert" is October 23rd. The Arts West Travelling Gallery is here for your viewing pleasure! The last day to see it will be Wednesday August 19th.

Introducing the August book for the Happy Bookers Book Club! The title is "Sandwich," by Catherine Newman. It is about a woman in her fifties on her annual family vacation at Cape Cod, sandwiched between her aging parents and her grown children. Discussion on this title is Wednesday August 26 at 7:00 PM at the Library!

There are paper copies available, and you can find it on hoopla in audiobook format.

New members are always welcome!

This book launch of a local author, our very own Maggie Mae Holmes, is happening at the library on Friday! Everyone is welcome to attend.
