It's the day we've all been waiting for… Summer Sizzle 2026 starts now!

Before the fun begins, here are a few quick reminders to help everyone have a safe and enjoyable day:
💵 Bring cash for the BBQ and beer gardens. Please note: there is no ATM on site.
🪪 Due to liquor licensing requirements, anyone under 19 attending Street Dance must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian. This is a mandatory legal requirement set by the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA).
🚸 Please keep an eye on your children throughout the day. Each location will have a designated check-in table for lost children. If you become separated from your child, notify staff at the table so we can help reunite you as quickly as possible.

Our friends at the La Ronge Regional Fire Department are carrying the torch this year as hosts of Camp Molly, and we're helping spread the word! 🚒

Our streets are shared by pedestrians, cyclists, families, and children at play. With warmer weather and summer activities in full swing, more residents are out walking, biking, and enjoying our parks, playgrounds, and neighbourhoods.

Please remember:
🚗 Follow posted speed limits - the speed limit in town is 40km unless otherwise posted
🛑 Watch for pedestrians and cyclists
👀 Stay alert around parks and playgrounds

A few extra seconds can make all the difference. By slowing down and staying attentive, we can all help keep our community safe for everyone.

The Regional Park Pass Lending Program officially begins this Friday! Stop by your local library ahead of the long weekend and pick up a pass. Park passes are available for 7-day loans from May 15 to September 8. All details can be found on our website: https://southeastlibrary.ca/regionalparkpass

💰 Property Tax Discount Reminder 💰

The 8% discount on the municipal portion of property taxes is available until June 30, 2026!

To take advantage of this discount, payment must be received at the Town Office by 5:00 PM on June 30. This discounted amount can be found on your 2026 Tax Notice on the lower left side.

⚠️ Important Reminder: This is the only discount period available. No further discounts will be offered after June 30.

If you are paying online, please note that payments can take 3–5 business days to be received and processed. Be sure to plan ahead to ensure your payment arrives before the deadline.
