🏠 A reminder that property taxes are due on August 31st!

Methods of payment:
-In person at the municipal office (36 Burrows) via cash, cheque or debit
-E-transfer to [email protected]. E-transfers are typically received on the same day.
-Online through electronic bank transfers. A reminder that standard electronic bank transfers take ~3 business days for processing.
-Cheque payable to LGD of Pinawa: Mail to Box 100 or deposit in after-hours mail slot

A reminder that the due date of August 31st does not apply to anyone currently on the Tax Installment Payment Plan (TIPPs)

The LGD of Pinawa proudly recognizes several Fire Department members honored at the Royal Life Saving Society Rescue and Commonwealth Honours Awards Ceremony, hosted by the Honourable Anita R. Neville on July 28, 2026 at Government House.

Eight members of the Pinawa Fire & Rescue Service received the Rescue Commendation for their exceptional courage and resourcefulness in rescuing five individuals in distress on the Pinawa Channel in August 2025. Additionally, two members received the prestigious M.G. Griffiths Award, given to Royal Life Saving Society–trained individuals who successfully apply their skills to save lives.

The LGD of Pinawa extends its deepest gratitude to our firefighters, who consistently go above and beyond for public safety.

August 24, 2026: We are pleased to announce that the Pool is now open! Thank you for being patient while we worked to resolve this unforeseen matter and adhere to the proper safety guidelines.

The LGD of Pinawa is looking for an enthusiastic and responsible Recreation Facilitator to help lead our Teen Program on Monday and Wednesdays from 7:00-10:00pm and Fridays 7:00-11:00pm!
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with teens, creating a welcoming environment, and helping provide positive recreation opportunities for youth in our community.
