Make after-school care even more fun with upcoming theme days, when the gymnasium will be transformed for Halloween on October 29, Glow in the Dark on November 26 and Winter Wonderland on December 17.

Kids Gym offers flexible, licensed, play-based after-school care for children in Grades 1–5 (ages 6–11). Kids spend their afternoons playing active games, trying sports and connecting with friends—all in a safe, supervised setting.

Choose the days that work for your family—just $15 per day—then register for care once a week, a few days a week, or on a different schedule each week.

Pitt Meadows Elects Mayor and City Council for the 2026-2030 Term

Following the local government and school trustee election on Saturday, October 17, the official results have been confirmed for the next four-year term.

The City has lowered its flags to half-mast to honour the Canadian Armed Forces service members who lost their lives following the tragic fire at CFB Wainwright, Alberta.

The City extends its deepest condolences to the families, friends, colleagues and communities affected by this devastating loss, and recognizes those injured in the incident and the emergency personnel responding during this difficult time.

What to bring:
• If you are not already registered to vote, bring at least two documents that prove your identity and place of residence, with at least one of them showing your signature (some examples include BC Driver's License, BC Care Card, property tax notice, credit card or debit card).

Here’s a look at what your Pitt Meadows RCMP were up to throughout September:

• Back-to-school speed enforcement around local schools 🚸

• A Truth and Reconciliation tree-wrapping event hosted by q̓ic̓əy̓ (Katzie) First Nation and PLEA Community Services in šxʷhék̓ʷnəs (Spirit Square) 🧡

• The Cops for Cancer Tour de Coast stopped at the detachment, celebrating riders raising funds for pediatric cancer research. Cpl. Blakeway from Pitt Meadows RCMP participated and raised more than $8,000. 🚴

• The first-ever Pitt Meadows RCMP Open House welcomed residents to the new detachment to connect with officers and learn from public safety partners. 🏠

• Officers attended the BC Law Enforcement Memorial in Victoria, honouring those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. 🕊️
