Join us for a hands-on building adventure with Makedo — where ordinary cardboard becomes extraordinary creations! 🏰🤖

Makedo is an innovative building system that turns everyday cardboard into imaginative creations. Experience The Playground™ Makedo kit featuring safe, simple tools like saws, screws, and screwdrivers. Children can construct anything from forts to robots. This eco-friendly, reusable kit promotes creativity, engineering, and teamwork.

We’ll provide the tools, but feel free to bring some cardboard if you have any

Join us for an engaging and informative introduction to the fascinating world of beekeeping with the North Fraser Honeybee Club! 🍯

This program will feature a hands-on look at essential beekeeping elements, including a sample of a hive and a variety of beekeeping equipment. Participants will also get an up-close view of a traditional bee suit and learn how it’s used in the field. 🐝👩‍🌾

Our guest speaker will provide an accessible overview of what it takes to care for bees, from hive setup to daily maintenance, along with insights into why bees are so vital to our environment. 🌼

There will be plenty of time for questions, giving attendees the opportunity to explore their curiosity and learn more about this rewarding practice. Whether you're a beginner or simply interested in nature, this program offers something for everyone!
