Charles Street is now fully opened. It will be repaved at a later date.

Charles Street between Albert and Arthur will be closed this afternoon in order to complete an emergency storm sewer repair. This will affect parents picking up students at the end of the school day. Please exercise caution and patience in the area. We want everyone home safe at the end of the day.

Due to technical difficulty we have not been able to livestream our May 12 Environmental Services Committee meeting. We believe we have the issue solved for the 2:30 Finance and Administration Committee meeting.

Be aware that flushing and camera work will be undertaken over the next few days in the area of Mara, Lite, Church and Simpson Streets. Please exercise caution when using the roads in that area. This work will continue on Venetian Boulevard starting early next week as well. Please help to keep all workers safe during this time.

Cereal donations are being accepted now until April 17th at the fire hall.

The iconic chairs from the Point Edward Firehall have been replaced and we are looking for a good home for the used ones. There are approximately 30 chairs available and the chairs have a folding table attached to them. If you know of an organization that may be interested in acquiring these chairs please have them contact the Municipal Office at 519-337-3021. Please reach out by Monday, December 1.
