The Point Leamington Fire Dept. would like to send out a big thank you to everyone who supported us once again this year during the Point Leamington Day festivities by purchasing food, tickets, and providing donations. Your support goes a long way.

Also, a special shoutout to those who had provided us the baked beans, it is greatly appreciated!

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT: While it has likely been assumed, this post is to confirm that there will be no Fireworks tonight due to the provincial fire ban. Under this ban, fireworks are prohibited. Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause.

A fire ban has been declared for the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador due to elevated Fire Weather Index ratings and extensive wildfire activity in Labrador. The ban is effective immediately until July 17.
