• Check your funding status and ensure all required paperwork has been submitted.

• Don't be afraid to ask questions or seek help when needed. Student support services are there to help you succeed!
• Check your school's website for important dates.
• Attend orientation day if it is offered.
• Apply for parking, meal plans, residence, and student ID cards before the deadlines.
• Learn where to access academic support, tutoring, accessibility services, and counselling services on campus.
• Download your school's app (if available) to stay informed about events and announcements.
• Keep copies of important documents such as your ID, health card, funding information, and acceptance letter.
• Review your class schedule and campus map before your first day.

Registration is now open for JEDI’s Advanced Indigenous Information & Communications Technologies (AIICT) program! The program offers a multi-tiered learning pathway that blends classroom and virtual instruction with paid, hands-on work experience.

Each tier runs from September to April, followed by a 12-week paid internship.

JEDI’s AIICT program has been preparing Indigenous learners for meaningful careers in technology. The program offers a multi-tiered learning pathway that blends classroom and virtual instruction with paid, hands-on work experience.

⚫ Industry-driven curriculum aligned with in-demand tech careers
⚫ Paid internships integrated into every tier
⚫ Local in-person or virtual classes for long-distance students
⚫ Employer partnerships for real-world experience
Training streams include IT Helpdesk & Technical Support, Networking, Application Development, Software Testing, Advanced Programming, and Cybersecurity.

Eligibility Requirements:
✅ Indigenous status
✅ Must be 18 years of age or older
✅ High School Diploma or equivalent
✅ Up-to-date resume
Students will be placed into the tier that best suits their experience based on their resume and intake interview.

The funding deadline was May 31 for returning students and June 30 for recent high school grads. If you haven’t submitted your application yet, please do so ASAP. There will now be a delay in reviewing and approving your file for the Fall.
