This Lifesaving Society two-day course offers Intermediate First Aid and CPR-C for those who need training due to work requirements or want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home.

🎇Join us for a Canada Day fireworks display on Tuesday, June 30 at about 11 p.m. 🎆

The Town of Ponoka has once again partnered with the this year to bring you a Canada Day fireworks display.

The fireworks will be staged at the Ponoka Stampede grounds, which offer a central location where the fireworks can be seen throughout the community.

Citizens can also view the fireworks from the Ponoka Arena Complex (4410 54 Street) parking lot.

The World Cup Soccer Community Tournament, hosted by the Town of Ponoka and Ponoka Soccer has been rescheduled and will now take place on Saturday, July 4, at the Ponoka Arena Complex. ⚽⚽⚽

The event will run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and will feature:

✅Youth and adult soccer games (3 vs. 3);
✅Skills challenges;
✅Prizes;
✅Food; and
✅Activities for all ages!

👉Gather your team of six people for a three versus three tournament and a day of soccer fun. Registration is $60 for adults and all kids’ teams are free.

We want your input on the 2027 Town of Ponoka Budget. 📝

Tell us what you think Council should consider when it prepares the 2027 Town of Ponoka Budget this fall.

Your feedback on the 2027 Budget is an important part of Ponoka Town Council’s decision-making process. Public input helps Town Council to make more informed and thoughtful decisions that reflect what residents value most.

👉Share your thoughts by filling out the Citizen Input Survey. The survey is open until 11:59 p.m. on August 30.

You can fill out the Citizen Input Survey online at www.LetsTalkPonoka.ca

Paper copies of the survey are also available at the Ponoka Aquaplex, Ponoka Arena Complex and the Town Office at the Ponoka Civic Centre.

By sharing your input on the 2026 Town Budget, you can enter a draw for a chance to win a $100 gift certificate to a local restaurant of your choice in the Town of Ponoka.

Check out our Active Adventures Programs this summer, where youth can try or improve on their skateboarding, roller skating, swimming, and biking skills! It’s a fun way to stay active and spend time outside.

⭐Ages 6–14
🕗8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily
🛹🛼Equipment is provided, except for bikes
🥪 Please pack a lunch, snacks and a water bottle for your child each day
