Love this lady

AFRAID

You’re supposed to be afraid
the human heart is desperately soft
and this world is desperately hard

it seems simple to me
of course you should feel afraid
how could you not?

but you’re supposed to do this life afraid
that’s the key, the doing

your fear is not supposed to build walls
around your heart
or fence in your living

your fear is only supposed to be
an alarm system
that’s it
just a warning bell
not a wall

because sometimes walls keep out
more good stuff
than bad.

Send love

It doesn’t matter what you think of people facing danger.
Nor does it matter why they are facing danger.
What matters are the ripples of thought, we each emit on a daily basis.
The power of that collective force.
And whether we choose to use it for greater love or greater hate.
The thing is, each time you wish a stranger safe, I believe the universe hears.
That’s how prayer works.
And likewise, if you are judging a life about to be lost as ‘deserved’ in any way, heaven forbid you find yourself on the wrong side of that reasoning one day.

If you are struggling with the news right now, my friends, use your thoughts to wish safety for people you will never meet and will never need judge.

That’s kindness.
And I believe in it.
Let’s hope for a miracle.

With all my heart I urge you to heal.
Take back the power that was stolen from you, right the wrongs, slay the demons and open that Pandora’s box you're keeping so very tightly closed.
You have one life sweet one, and you deserve it to be beautiful.
You deserve to know what it’s like to be free of the pain they gave you.
You deserve to heal and every day you're not healing, you're carrying on a cycle you did not ask for.
If I can ever urge you to do just one thing my friend, it’s to heal.
Begin.
Just by realising how broken you are.
And how very brave you’ve been.
That’s the key to the box.
Turn it.
It will hurt for a while but you know about hurt already.
It will free you.

Just heal.
