So glad the festival of trees is back at the Best Western in Port Alberni . Come check them out!! If you have time, come vote for Magnolia Childcare society's tree! The kids did a beautiful job and all the proceeds are going to Ty Watson's house . It's a wonderful Christmas fundraiser .

Outside is our inspiration! It's the reason we explore , the reason we bundle up and go no matter the weather and it helps us be who we are as human beings.

Little acts of kindness.
Today our IT decorated a table thanking the lady who takes care of the community garden on Leslie . What a beautiful way to show an act of kindness! That is what our center is all about.

Orders must be placed no later than November 24. 2024

Purdys fundraising chocolates practically sell themselves. Choose from two chocolate fundraising programs that we offer at Purdys and raise funds for what matters most to you.

What a wonderful fall we are having . Lots of hikes , great finds in the forest and exciting field trips. We just had a trip to stamp falls after researching about Salmons and their migration. There were even a couple bear friends that were fishing at the time.

Hello wonderful parents.

Just wanted to do an update on our center.

We had a fun busy summer. Lots and lots of great hikes, exploring and learning opportunities.

The children are absolutely loving the change of the seasons at the moment. We are talking about salmon migration, harvesting fruit and vegetables and exploring all the living creatures in the forest . Recently our wonderful practicum student has helped make a beautiful forest fort.

Our programs are full at the moment and unfortunately our wait list is closed. We will be going through the current one for the next couple years and if any future opportunities arrive ( a spot opening) we will post it on facebook.
