Port Alberni Community Food Bank Giving Hope Today Port Alberni Community Food Bank is a ministry of The Salvation Army, Alberni Valley Ministries. Lt.

Michelle Cale is the Corps Officer at Alberni Valley Ministries and at Community and Family Services (including the Food Bank). We are located at the 4th and Redford corner of Alberni Ministries complex. We are part of the community in the Alberni Valley and are able to continue meeting the needs of the Valley through the support of our Community, The Salvation Army, businesses and groups in our city and Food Banks BC. Through Food Banks BC we are affiliated with Food Banks Canada.

Food Bank by Appointment Call to make an appointment (250-723-6913). Emergency help is available through Family Services Monday to Thursday 10:00am to 12.00noon. Afternoons by appointment.
