č̓uušukḥʔi (Take care. Be careful.). Join us today, Monday, August 31, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. as we come together to honour and remember those we have lost.

Gatherings will be held at the same time at both the Port Alberni Huu-ay-aht First Nations Government Office and the Anacla Huu-ay-aht First Nations Government Office. Lunch will be provided for all attendees.

Let's stand together in remembrance, support, and community care. Everyone is welcome.

ʔiinaxyučiʔaƛ̓i qiicqiicaʕas (Get ready for school!). Applications are now open for the Huu-ay-aht Academic Excellence Award and School Supply Allowance for K-12 students. You can apply online at https://huuayaht.org/services/education-training-employment/ or pick up an application at our Port Alberni and Anacla Government Offices. Please submit your application, along with the student’s final report card from June 2025-26, by the deadline on Thursday, October 1, 2026.
