Time to prepare for Winter weather!

When was the last time you checked your emergency kit or grab-and-go bag?

A good rule of thumb is to review and restock your emergency supplies twice a year. Replace expired food, water, medications and batteries, update important documents, and make sure clothing and personal items still meet your household's needs.

Taking a few minutes now can help ensure your supplies are ready when you need them most.

Don't forget! There will be a power outage from 7:30am-7:00pm, Sunday, September 20th. You can start your day at the Community Centre to cheer on the Tour de Rock riders, including our 2 local riders Greg and Jalil! Pancakes will be served until 9:30.

Take this time to see how prepared you are for an unexpected outage! Do you have battery-powered or rechargeable lights? Extra blankets if it's cold? A good book ready? It's always important to be prepared!

WATER DISRUPTION - MARINE DRIVE
We had hoped for a quick fix on Marine Drive between the HOSPITAL and 1000 MARINE DRIVE. Unfortunately, water will continue to be off in this area for a while longer, but the crew is working hard to get this repair finished. Thank you for your patience!
