Founded in 1975, our philosophy is based on the principle that giving people the tools to build a bright future is an essential ing

redient in the development of individuals, families and the community. Our programs and services are free of charge for women, children, and men in need. The Tri-City Transitions relies on charitable donations from the community to continue our critical work.

Over 80% of sexual assaults are committed by someone known to the victim.

Be more that a bystander:
Our perspectives are shaped by what we see/learn in our communities, so it's important to understand how powerful we are when it comes to changing attitudes and educating each other about sexual assault prevention.

A report on Intimate Partner Violence, "Our Time to Act" was released this week by the BC Coroners Office.
“Intimate partner violence related deaths are overwhelmingly preventable,” said Dr. Jatinder Baidwan, chief coroner.
“Tragically, deaths resulting from acts of intimate-partner violence remain far too common in communities everywhere, including here in B.C.,” said Ryan Panton, panel chair.
