Hello everyone, we have not yet been put on a restricted fire zone for our area. Even though evening burning is permitted we would ask that if you do not need to have a fire please don’t due to the very hot and dry conditions a fire can start very quickly and easily. Thank you again.

Hello everyone

The Argyle fire department is still currently looking for two unwanted vehicles that we can use for auto X training. These vehicles need to be in good enough shape to be towed down the road. If you are or if you know anyone that might be looking to get rid of one or two, you can contact Andy at 705-471-1440.. the fire department will look after the expense to move your vehicle. These vehicles must also be close to a roadway where a tow truck can get access to them. Thanks again.

Hey everyone

The argyle fire department is currently looking for a couple vehicles for training purposes. These cars do not have to be in running condition, but we do ask that they are in good enough condition that if they have to be towed that they will not fall apart. These vehicles can also be in driving condition if it’s a vehicle you’re just looking to part with. The fire department will look after the towing cost associated with picking up your vehicle from your property. Vehicles should be within close proximity of a driveway where a tow truck can access them to pick up. If you have a vehicle or know someone that is looking to get rid of a vehicle, you can contact Andy at 705 471 1440 to coordinate a pick up. Thanks everyone.

Hard to believe with all the snow we still have that it’s that time of year again. Camp fires for cooking and warmth are permitted during the day but must be extinguished when finished. Thanks again everyone for keeping our area fire safe.
