Notice of Road Closure & Community Event – May 5 from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM
Please be advised that a section of 49th Avenue, between 50th Street and 51st Street (fire hall and post office side), will be closed on May 5 .
We invite you to join Pouce coupe fire department in celebrating Emergency Preparedness Week! This is a great opportunity to connect with local emergency services and community organizations.
The event will feature:
• A variety of emergency vehicles
• Interactive demonstrations
• Opportunities to speak with different organizations
• Equipment displays and more
And of course, there will be hot dogs and hamburgers available!

ou've heard about NEBC alerts, but what is it and how do you sign up?

North East BC (NEBC) alerts is a digital notification system used by the Regional District and all member municipalities. Registered residents receive alerts for emergencies like evacuations, wildfires, flood events and more.

You can also opt-in for non-emergency news like water and waste station alerts and meetings near you when you sign up.

Signing up for NEBC alerts is easy!
You can register for an account online or by downloading the Everbridge app.
