Applications for Augusta Township’s 2027 Municipal Donation Program are now open.

Council is proud to support local non-profit groups, associations, and organizations that provide valuable services, programs, and events for our residents.
Application Period: Closing November 30 at 4:30 p.m.
Applications can be submitted by drop-off, email, or mail.

These applications are for 2027 funding. If your project is making a meaningful difference in the Augusta community and there’s a clear need for support, we would love to hear what you are working on.

Please be advised that the Augusta Township Office, Public Works, Fire Station 1 (Maitland), Public Library, and Waste Transfer Stations will be closed on Monday, October 12, 2026.

During this time, the Fire Department will remain available to respond to emergencies.

Please be advised that Skakum Road will be fully closed from McCully Road to County Road 18 on October 7, 2026 from 9:30 AM until 2:30 PM.

We encourage drivers to plan alternate routes and allow for extra travel time.

Join North Augusta Recreation Committee for an afternoon of Halloween fun at their upcoming Kids Halloween Party. Located at the North Augusta Community Hall on October 17 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Kids can get creative while making spooky lava lamps, take part in a donut eating contest, and show off their Halloween costumes in our costume contest.

Come dressed in your favourite costume and enjoy an afternoon of fun with family and friends.

The 2026 Municipal Election is coming up on Monday, October 26, and the first step to making sure your voice is heard is confirming that you are on the voters’ list.

This week, the Sunday Morning Walking Club continues at the Maitland Education and Recreation Centre. It’s a great opportunity to get moving, enjoy the outdoors and connect with others in the community.
