Thinking about serving your community? Nominations are now open for the 2026 Municipal Election in the Township of Augusta.

Individuals interested in running for the office of Mayor or Councillor can file their nomination papers during the nomination period, which closes on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.

Candidate information packages, election policies, procedures, and other important resources are available online and at the Township Office.

The next Municipal and School Board Election will take place on October 26, 2026 and will be conducted using Internet/Telephone Voting. If it is after 4:30 pm on a weekday or during the weekend and you notice an immediate safety concern, please call the hotline and leave a detailed message.

Extended office hours are now in effect at the Augusta Township Office. Residents can visit the office Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

These extended hours will remain in place until October 2, 2026, providing additional time to access Township services and support.

Please note that these changes apply to the Township Office only and do not affect the operating hours of the Public Works Department or Fire Department.
