We would like to extend a sincere thank you to Roger from Tobin Lake Leisure, who came to our rescue yesterday on the lake. While out fishing, our motor unexpectedly gave out—14 miles down the river. With it being one of the last beautiful days of summer, we were hesitant to ask for help, knowing it would take hours to tow us back. After several unsuccessful calls, we reached out to Tobin Lake Leisure, and despite being busy, Roger didn’t hesitate to assist us.
He generously refused any payment, and we are incredibly grateful for his kindness and support.
We’ve used Tobin Lake Leisure’s filleting shack and boat launch a few times this summer, and we plan to purchase a seasonal pass for their facilities next year—not only because it’s clean, affordable, and well-managed, but because we want to support people like Roger and Amy, who truly go above and beyond.
A million thank yous, Roger. We’re forever grateful and look forward to seeing you next summer.
