We are all going to die.
That’s not meant to be morbid, it’s just the truth. None of us are immune, none of us get to bypass it, and none of us know exactly when. Death isn’t just something that happens in the distance or to other people. It’s happening now, every day, all around us, to people we love, and to people we have never met. And one day, it will happen to us too.

We spend so much of our lives trying not to think about it, as if pretending it won’t happen makes us safe. But death is not the enemy, denial is. When we stop pretending we are untouchable, we start to see how precious and temporary this life really is. Every moment, every breath, every connection takes on new meaning.

So if death is certain, the real question is: how are we choosing to live while we still can?
