Nothing says 'spring' like our Paddockwood Library branch's annual plant sale!

Nothing says 'spring' like our Paddockwood Library branch's annual plant sale!

After weeks of watching the water, waiting patiently, and wondering what spring would bring, we are so happy to finally say it…

Our Annual “Mother’s Day” Plant Sale Fundraiser is officially happening May 20th & 21st. 🌱🌸

Living where we do means spring can be unpredictable. The roads may require a few detours, but if there’s one thing our community has always been, it’s resilient. We’ve all made the drive before, and truthfully, there’s something special about the journey this time of year — the returning wildlife, the melting snow in the forest, the beauty of another northern spring arriving around us. Slow down, take in the scenery, and come spend the day with us in Paddockwood.

This fundraiser means so much to our library and to our community. Every table, every plant, every baked good, every silent auction item and door prize comes from the generosity of people across our broad surrounding communities. It is neighbours helping neighbours, community members supporting community spaces, and people coming together because they care deeply about keeping our little library thriving.

And what a sale it’s going to be.

Beautiful plants, incredible silent auction items, amazing door prizes, snacks, laughter, visiting with friends old and new — all wrapped into what many lovingly call the spring event of the season.

We know many of you have been waiting patiently alongside us. Thank you for sticking with us through the uncertainty.

Now it’s finally time. We understand and apologize for the short notice, please share this post and help us spread the word!

We are doing it, and we cannot wait to welcome you. 💚
