EMERGENCY WATER SERVICE DISRUPTION NOTICE

Emergency Watermain Repair
The Municipality is currently undertaking an emergency watermain repair on Fenchurch Avenue (east of Lime Street).

• 23 Fenchurch Avenue
• 24 Fenchurch Avenue
• 27 Fenchurch Avenue

Water Service Interruption
Water service will be shut off for the duration of the repair work. Municipal crews are working to complete the repair and restore service as quickly as possible.

Traffic and Access
During the repair work, access to Fenchurch Avenue will be limited. Residents and motorists are asked to:
• Obey all posted traffic control signs and directions from traffic control personnel.
• Watch for moving equipment, municipal vehicles, and workers in the area.
• Use caution when travelling through or near the work zone.

Temporary Road Closure / Detour Notice

Location: Tulameen Avenue
Date: Tuesday, June 2, 2026
Time: 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

The Town of Princeton advises that a section of Tulameen Avenue between Dewdney Street and Angela Avenue will be temporarily closed to traffic to allow for water infrastructure repairs.

Motorists are asked to use Dewdney Street and Angela Avenue as a detour route and to follow all posted traffic control signage.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation while this work is completed.

Town crews are actively working to repair the watermain and restore water service as quickly as possible. At this time, there is no estimated time of completion available.

Please obey all traffic control signage and use caution in the area, as heavy equipment and work crews will be present during repairs.

Bears have been active in several Princeton neighborhoods seeking garbage and other easy food sources. To help keep our residents, pets and the wildlife safe, please be sure to keep your garbage and other wildlife temptations secure or otherwise inaccessible.
Bear sightings should be reported to the BC Conservation Officer Service.

Simple measures can be taken to prevent human wildlife conflicts.

Brooks reservoir will not have the ability to be filled for a few hours.

Please help conserve water while the repairs are being made by limiting water usage.
