WATER SERVICE & TRAFFIC DISRUPTION NOTICE

Wednesday, September 2, 2026, 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

As part of the Allison Avenue Sewer System Upgrade Project, the contractor will require a temporary water main shutdown to complete work associated with the sewer main excavation.

Affected Properties:
* Tulameen Avenue - 329, 330, 337, 340, 343, 344, 351, 354, 371, 379, 380, 383, 386, 389
* Ingerbelle Street - 391
* Bill Miner Way - 380, 383, 384, 390, 395

Residents and businesses at the above properties should be prepared for a temporary interruption to water service between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Traffic Disruption – Tulameen Avenue

Traffic will also be impacted on Tulameen Avenue between Lapworth Avenue and Pine Street while excavation for the sewer main upgrade is underway.

Single-lane alternating traffic will be in effect. Please obey all traffic control signage and directions from flagging personnel.

Use caution when travelling through the construction area and be aware of workers and heavy equipment.

The closure applies to all foot, bicycle, and vehicle traffic.

Due to the movement of heavy trucks and equipment within the construction area, public access will not be permitted during the closure for safety reasons.

Please obey all posted signs, barricades, and directions from flag crews.

Allison Flats Area water service must be temporarily shut off to a large section of the Allison Flats.

What Residents Should Know

Residents and businesses within the affected area are encouraged to store enough water for essential needs prior to 9:00 a.m.
Crews will work to complete the repair and restore water service as quickly as possible. The 11:00 am restoration time is approximate and may change depending on conditions encountered during the repair.
Once water service is restored, residents may experience temporary discolouration or air in their water lines. If this occurs, run a cold-water tap until the water runs clear.

To safely complete this task, water service must be temporarily shut off to a large section of the Allison Flats area on Monday, August 17, from 8:00 a.m. to approximately 5:00 p.m.

KVR TUNNEL – TEMPORARY PUBLIC CLOSURE

August 26, 27, 28 & 31, 2026

The KVR Tunnel will be CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC on the following dates:

Wednesday, August 26
Thursday, August 27
Friday, August 28
Monday, August 31

The closure applies to all foot, bicycle, ATV, and vehicle traffic.

Bree Contracting will be hauling loads of riprap material through the KVR Tunnel to the Well #4 area as part of riverbank stabilization and flood protection construction for the Well #4 relocation project.

Due to the movement of heavy trucks and equipment through the tunnel, public access will not be permitted during the closure for safety reasons.

Please obey all posted signs, barricades, and directions from crews, and do not enter the tunnel while the closure is in effect.
