At the end of the day today Josée Breton one of our bus drivers will take the students to Jimbo's for a slushie (Her treat) as a thank you for the help and welcome she has recieved from the community.

À la fin de la journée, Josée Breton, l'une de nos conductrices de bus, emmènera les élèves chez Jimbo's pour leur offrir une slushie (Elle Paiera) afin de les remercier pour l'aide et l'accueil chaleureux qu'elle a reçus de la part de la communauté.

The award ceremony for Elementary will be on June 18th at 11:00 AM and Secondary awards will be on June 18th at 1:00 PM both will be held in the gymnasium at JSMS.

La cérémonie de remise des prix pour le primaire aura lieu le 18 juin à 11 h, et celle du secondaire le 18 juin à 13 h ; les deux cérémonies se dérouleront dans le gymnase de la JSMS.

The election for the Naskapi Education Committee is being held today at Manikin(June 16th). The two available seats were previously held by Edward Shecanapish and Agnes Uniam. The candidates are: Willie Mameanskum, Edward Shecanapish, Martha Mary Shecanapish, Agnes Uniam, and Michelle Losier.

Secondary Students from Scheffer/Matimekush who have exams both in the morning and afternoon today will have lunch provided as we only have one bus available. (June 15th)

Nominations for NEC elections are now open. Two seats are currently open which were previously filled by Agnes Uniam and Edward Shecanapish. Nomination forms are available at the front office and must be returned by Friday, June 12 at 4:00 pm. Elections will be held June 16 at the Manikin during operational hours.
