🎉 RECORD-BREAKING COMMUNITY DONATIONS! 🎉

The Parksville Beach Festival Society is proud to share a record-breaking $89,270 with 24 local organizations and community partners whose volunteers helped make the 2026 Quality Foods Sand Sculpting Competition and Exhibition a success!

This summer, 119,480 visitors came to admire 23 incredible sand sculptures, while our amazing Gate Ambassador volunteers contributed nearly 3,200 hours of their time to welcome guests, answer questions and help create a memorable experience for everyone.

These donations support the valuable community programs and initiatives delivered by these not-for-profit groups throughout the Oceanside region, recognizing the dedication and generosity of the volunteers who give their time to make a positive difference in our community.

Since 1999, the Parksville Beach Festival Society has donated more than $1.2 million to local non-profit organizations and community initiatives!

A heartfelt THANK YOU to all 24 participating organizations, our dedicated volunteers, sponsors and supporters. Your commitment and community spirit help make the festival so much more than a summer event.

It's that time again for our Shopping Spree Fundraiser. Cash prizes of $1000, 500 and 250 possible to win when you buy tickets from our Rotarian members. We'll be starting to hang out at our local Oceanside QF and Save-On stores over the next couple months Thursday-Sunday.
Come buy some tickets from us as the money raised supports our community in many ways.
If you're friend is a Rotarian don't be afraid to approach them to buy!

Saturday mornings for the past 5 months, the Rotary Club of Qualicum Beach has been supporting the efforts of Manna Society. The Breakfast Club offered bowls of cereal and a variety of fruit and snacks, helping to curb food scarcity in the Oceanside community.
The Porridge/Oatmeal program will begin again in November offering a warm bowl of oatmeal during the colder season.
The summer months featured Fruit Loops, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and Multi-grain Cheerios.
Which cereal would you choose for breakfast? 😊

We have now moved our meetings back to Rotary House from our beautiful Rotary Park.

Jenny Atkinson (right) of the International Schools Program, joined Christa, and exchange student, Nicole, to talk to us about hosting exchange students.

We received our Christmas Shopping Spree raffle tickets, so look for us around town.

Our gift card program just got better for the community. Now we will donate 12% of our sales for senior food security and other food programs within the Oceanside area.

Thank-you to our additional sponsorship from Speedy Glass, Qualicum and Parksville Remax we can now give back 12% to the community of what we sell.
Last year it was 8% and we gave out $8000 for our First Year! We're looking to do even better this year.

All you need to do is purchase gift cards from a Qualicum Beach Rotarian in $100, $50 or $25 denominations (or email @ [email protected].

It's a great way to budget for your groceries purchased at any of the stores listed below (photo).
They can be purchased for your teenager that likes to have lunch at either Save-On or Qualicum Foods giving them a budget through the card.

Help us achieve that by asking a Rotarian to purchase cards on a monthly, quaterly or whenever you want basis. It's easy to purchase with our e-transfer payment system (cash or cheque accepted as well).

The Rotary Club of Qualicum Beach inducted Louise last night at our last meeting at our Park location for this year. She chose Qualicum to retire after living abroad for 20+ years and was an international banker. She has the gift to speak Mandarin Chinese” 😊 Welcome Louise from all of us!
