Qualicum Beach Fire Rescue Serving Qualicum Beach since 1947.

We are a composite department with a team of over 30 firefighters who provide fire prevention, suppression, and rescue services to the residents of the Town of Qualicum Beach and the Qualicum Beach Fire Protection Area. We strive to create a safe community through the services of public education, fire prevention and inspections, and emergency planning.

🌲 Trim branches within 2 metres of the ground
🌲 Thin out shrubs and other dense vegetation

The Town’s fall Chipping Program is now underway—an ideal chance to safely dispose of branches and continue FireSmarting your property.

Nearly 400 visitors to our Open House last Saturday! Thank you to all who came to visit, young and old.
It was a great opportunity to meet the community, answer questions, and promote a few tidbits about fire safety. It was great to hear that some families even came from out of town to join our event! There was a lot to experience, just to name a few, touring the fire station, climbing into the fire trucks, spraying a fire hose (with targets!), using a fire extinguisher, and even jumping around in a bouncy castle with slides!
