Haida Gwaii Child Care Resource & Referral The Child Care Resource and Referral Program provides support, resources and referral services for child care providers, parents and caregivers.

CCRR Program

The Child Care Resource and Referral Program provides support, resources and referral services for child care providers, parents and caregivers in all communities on Haida Gwaii. We also work with community groups to provide workshops and to promote quality childcare choices that meet the needs of local families. CCRR can help with starting up home childcare services, applying for Ch

ild Care Subsidy, and referrals to local licensed child care providers. If child care providers need help with administrative issues like contracts, policies and fees we can help with that too. Home and facility support visits are also a big part of what we do. These allow us to bring in new lending library resources and activities directly to those who need them. CCRR works with other local programs to provide networking opportunities with other care providers and offer workshops and short courses related to the child care profession. The CCRR Resource, Equipment, and Toy Lending Library is full of tools and activities for teachers, parents and caregivers to help engage children in early learning. If there are items that you think would be useful additions to the library let us know. CCRR will also deliver resources to those unable to visit the library in person.
