Red Lake Indian Friendship Centre RLIFC-news, shared events, programs, messages, updates of our current operations.

The Red Lake Indian Friendship Centre was started in 1964 by a group of youth who recognized the need for recreational and social activities. It soon became evident that the Club was making a positive impact on the community, being called upon to provide a variety of services to the native and non-native community, business and government agencies. As one of the "Original Six" this Centre was incorporated in 1971 and we were very pleased to celebrate 40 years of service in June of 2011.

WAA TAA BIIN ANIIGO WIINIINGWGAAN Community action for Prenatal & Child Health Program (CAPCHP) will be holding a virtual candle light vigil, for Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day.

On Thursday, October 15th please join in by sharing a picture of your lit candle in the comments section of this post. For one hour from 7:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. Together we will join the International Wave of Light 💜

For those individuals who do post a picture of your lit candle, Jacintha will put your name in a draw to win a prize. 💜

Pick up a picture at Site 1(1 Legion Rd) or Site 2 (114 Forestry Rd), or they can be emailed to you if you have a printer available.

Please add name and age onto the picture and you can drop it off at either Sites, or take a picture of it and email it to [email protected]

Winner will be picked by random draw according to age group, and winner will be announced on October 8th at our Fall Feast.
