New in June at The Red Rock Public Library! Help us create a Popsicle Stick Bookshelf!

We are inviting community members of ALL ages to join this collaborative art project! Take a few minutes to relax at your library and create your own popsicle stick book spine! You can make one based on your favourite book, or design your own! The library has all the supplies needed to create some colourful, creative and fun book spines!

The finished bookshelf will be framed and hung in the library for everyone to look back on and enjoy for years to come 😍

Come see us and try it out! We have some examples on display to help inspire you!

You can join The Red Rock Public Library's Reading Club at any time!

Our theme for Summer is:
"Golden Hour Stories”
Light, warm, nostalgic summer reads. Books that feel like sitting outside at 8pm with a soft breeze.

Our meeting will take place in mid-August so come and visit our Reading Club dedicated display to choose your title!

The Reading Club works like this:
We select a diverse range of books from The Red Rock Public Library's collection with a theme in common, covering different genres, cultures, periods, etc.
After a few weeks we meet at the library to discuss the books we read over some light refreshments!
The guidelines are informal- you can read more than one of the book selections if you are an avid reader (but please only borrow one book at a time!) Busy month and you couldn’t finish your pick? You can still join us to discuss our reading!
