🚧 Road Work Update 🚧

Thank you for your patience and cooperation while crews worked on crack sealing and line painting around town this past week.

On Monday, work will continue with crack sealing on the west side of town and line painting in the downtown core. 🦺

The Town of Redwater is looking for a Parks and Facilities Operator to join our team in a full-time, permanent position!

This role is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and operation of Pembina Place Arena, the Cultural Centre, green spaces throughout the community and much more!

Duties include:
✔️ Arena operations, ice maintenance, and Zamboni operation
✔️ Facility cleaning and maintenance
✔️ Snow removal and grounds maintenance
✔️ Parks, sports field, and cemetery upkeep
✔️ Equipment and hand tool operation and maintenance
✔️ Risk management and inspections
✔️ Customer service and responding to resident inquiries
✔️ Participation in the Town’s Health and Safety Program

Looking to grow your own fresh vegetables this summer? There are still Community Garden plots available!

If you'd like to reserve a garden plot—or if you're interested in obtaining a second plot—please call 780-942-4101. Plots will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

Start your lifeguarding journey this summer with our Bronze Medallion and Bronze Cross courses at the Redwater Pool!

📢 Good news! The registration deadline has been extended to June 29, so there's still time to sign up.

✅ Course Requirements:
• Participants must be 13 years of age or older
• Intermediate First Aid is required before taking the Bronze Cross course
• Intermediate First Aid is being offered on July 2 & 3

These courses help participants refine swimming skills, learn lifesaving techniques, and gain the knowledge needed to work toward becoming a lifeguard.
