💙 The Evermore Centre is deeply honoured to welcome Dr. Maurice as our Voices of Truth Series speaker. Featuring guest speakers who share their true lived experiences, Voices of Truth is intended to illuminate the personal ways that colonialism has impacted First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples on Treaty 6 Territory and beyond.
💚 Dr. Maurice's presentation on September 23rd will examine the colonial backpack of oppressive structural, cultural, and historical Sixties Scoop policies and practices that Indigenous, Métis and Inuit people endured within a settler-colonial society. This evening will provide you with an opportunity to reflect the journey from victim to survivor and from Warrior to Wisdom.
