If you’d like to take advantage of the 5% discount on the municipal portion of your property taxes, the deadline is August 31st. Any tax amounts paid before then will receive a discount.

Note: Taxes are due, in full, by December 31st, 2026.

Payment options:
Online - Through your online banking service, use Balgonie (Town of) Taxes. If you are unsure of your account number, contact the Town Office.

In Person - We accept debit, cheque or cash. We do not accept credit cards in the office.

Credit Card - Go to www.townofbalgonie.ca and pay with Plastiq. There are fees associated with this payment method.

Note: When viewing your balance on your Customer Portal account, the balance on the dashboard does not reflect the discount. Please refer to your tax notice under Documents to confirm the discounted amount.

Vehicles that fall under the definition of All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) are not allowed on any street within town limits, except for the purpose of crossing to get to the closest point of exit. Stunting and driving on walking paths is not permitted, as it is a major safety concern for those who are walking or biking on the path.
