The Town of Balgonie is working with a consulting company to develop a 5 year strategic plan for our community. A strategic plan is an official roadmap created by the local government and community to set long-term goals, guide growth and decide how to spend public money.

Feedback generated from this engagement survey will be used to help establish new priorities, ideas and a long-term strategic direction for the Town of Balgonie.

There are two surveys your family can participate in:
1. A Community Engagement Survey
2. A Youth Engagement Survey (for youth ages 5-15)

Our annual Dinner Theatre is right around the corner! This year’s play is called Suite Surrender. The play is written by Micheal McKeever and directed by Stephanie Gallagher.

The dates for the production are November 6th, 7th, 13th, and 14th. Box office tickets go on sale Sunday, October 18th at the Balgonie Multiplex. After the Box office, please call 306-771-2284 for tickets!

UPDATE: The temporary water problem has been resolved. WSA (Water Security Agency) does not require a boil water advisory.

The Fall Clean Up Bins will be at the Transfer Station starting October 2nd!

Reminders:
- The purpose of the 40-yard bin is to allow residents to dispose of additional household waste that does not fit into your black roll-out bin.
- This bin is ONLY for Balgonie residents to use. Home builders/developers are not permitted to use the bin.
- If you have large items (couches, mattresses, box springs, etc.) please take them to the Regina Landfill.
- Items that are NOT to go into the bin include: shingles, railway ties, telephone poles, creosote wood, tires, propane tanks, car batteries, paint, oil, chemicals, construction/renovation material, etc.
- If the bin is full, please come back when there is a new bin.

If you are unsure if your item is allowed, please contact the Town Office.
