Hey Dragons!

The wait is almost over… school begins tomorrow morning!!

Before the big day, don’t forget to swing by TONIGHT between 4-5:30 PM for our annual Backpack Drop-Off! It’s a great chance to get organized, drop off supplies, and build a little excitement for the first day of school. 🎒

We can’t wait to see our Dragon families tonight and welcome our students through the doors tomorrow morning. Here’s to an incredible year ahead!

Our annual Backpack Drop-Off Night is next week on Tuesday, September 1st from 4:00-5:30 p.m.

We invite families to come to the school and drop off school supplies during the event to make our first day a little easier and our backpacks a little lighter. It’s a chance for students and families to tour their new classroom and meet their new teacher. Your child’s teacher for the 2026-2027 school year is listed in their report card. Come ease those first day jitters!

What a wonderful final week of Camp Dragon! 🐉📚

Our campers stayed busy as we continued building our reading, writing, and storytelling skills. Along the way, we also had plenty of fun making our own bannock and ice cream together!

We wrapped up camp with a celebration of all the hard work and growth we saw throughout the past couple of weeks. Each camper received a special award highlighting the unique strengths they brought to camp, such as “Best Storyteller,” “Most Creative Writer,” “Literacy Superstar,” and many more.

We are incredibly proud of all of our campers and are so excited to continue seeing them grow as readers and writers in the fall!

A HUGE THANK YOU to United Way Regina for helping to make this program possible and for supporting our young learners and their families. We are so thankful for your ongoing support! ❤️🍎

What an amazing first week at Camp Dragon! Our campers have been busy reading, writing, creating, and sharing stories. They were lucky to enjoy a story walk this week and have loved bringing their own ideas to life through storytelling. We’re looking forward to all the fun and learning that Week 2 will bring! 📚🐉

Year-End Early Dismissal Reminder

On Wednesday, June 24, all students will be dismissed at 2:15 p.m.

Please note that this dismissal time is different from a previous message sent home. 2:15 p.m. is the updated early dismissal time for Arcola Community School.

Bus Schedule:

* First Run: 2:20 p.m.
* Second Run: 2:40–2:45 p.m.

Kindergarten B Families:
Kindergarten B students will not be dismissed early on Tuesday, June 23 (their final day of school).
