Please welcome Chris Taschuk to the Regina Food Bank Board of Directors!

Chris is a Regina-based corporate director and former technology executive with experience in governance, strategy, risk management, and business operations.

He's also a long-time donor and former volunteer with the Regina Food Bank, now looking to contribute in a new way to continue driving change in the food security space.

Chris is passionate about community service and his experience and commitment to strong governance, makes him a wonderful addition to our Board.

What grows best in one part of Canada can help feed families in another - That's the idea behind this exciting partnership between the Regina Food Bank and the Greater Vancouver Food Bank !

Last week, we exchanged more than 50,000 pounds of food between Saskatchewan and BC. While fresh B.C. produce made its way to Regina, we sent Saskatchewan-grown staples like lentils, oats, soup mix and pasta to help support families on the West Coast.

It's a simple idea with a big impact. By sharing the foods each region has in abundance, we're providing more variety, reducing food waste, and making better use of the incredible food grown and produced across Canada.

We're proud to be part of a growing movement that's changing how food banks work together, because when communities share their strengths, everyone benefits. 💚

With expertise in finance, strategic partnerships, and governance, Erin brings thoughtful leadership and a passion for creating opportunities that strengthen our community.
