At NYFC, cultural revitalization, healing, community building, and language revitalization are more than just words — they are part of the path we walk every day.

Like many of the people we serve, we are on our own journeys of learning who we are, reconnecting with our traditional ways, and working through our traumas while celebrating our triumphs.

Today, we’re proud to showcase our Resolution Health Support Workers (RHSWs) as they hit the pow-wow trail, leading by example and putting culture, connection, and healing into action. 🪶❤️

At NYFC, we don’t just talk the talk — we walk the walk.

If you’re looking for connection, culture, healing, or support, reach out and learn more about our Men’s Group, Women’s Group, 2S Group, and the many other programs and workshops offered by our RHSW team.

Healing through culture. Strength through community. Leading by example.

For more information on our RHSW programs email [email protected] and/or [email protected]

To mark this incredible milestone, we invite you to join us for our 65th Anniversary Gala & Fundraiser—an evening dedicated to celebrating our past, honouring our journey, and investing in our future.

Enjoy an unforgettable evening of fine dining, special entertainment, a silent auction, and a walk down Memory Lane.

Every week, our Peer Support Team visits encampments throughout our community, providing food, water, essential supplies, and, most importantly, connection, support, and hope.

Our Peer Support Workers bring lived experience—they have faced chronic homelessness themselves and are now thriving in our supportive housing program. Their journeys allow them to build trust and meet people where they are with understanding and compassion.

Joining them are our support staff, nurses, and addiction counsellor, ensuring individuals have access to care, resources, and pathways to healing.

Caring for our relatives is a shared responsibility. Together, we can create a community where everyone is treated with dignity, compassion, and respect. ❤️
