Congratulations to CUPE Saskatchewan's Local 2268 for the wins they have achieved for education workers!

Their gains are great news for every worker in our province!

After a challenging round of bargaining that reached impasse and included a strong strike mandate, members of CUPE 2268 have voted to ratify a new collective agreement with the Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools. The ratification vote was held June 11-13, 2026. “This was a tough round, but our mem...

Congratulations to IBEW 2050, 2067 and 2038 for their successful information picket on Friday!

Signals & communications employees perform highly skilled, safety-sensitive, work that helps keep Canada’s trains moving freight. They're fighting for fair pay and time with their families when saddled with a heavy travel schedule.

Saskatchewan workers support IBEW so that our railways can recruit and retain the workers needed to keep our economy working!

“There is no economic benefit from stripping the right to collectively withdraw their services when they stand up from themselves. In fact, we risk the wages, safety, and quality of working life for all workers when the right to strike is taken away.

“We expect Secretary Belanger and every Saskatchewan elected official, regardless of party, to stand of for the rights of workers, including the right to strike.”

"Over the past few years, we have seen our workplaces become less safe. Especially those of you that have public facing work.

"Violence at work has become something to we deal with on a daily basis. It is not right, nothing about it is right.

"We know, because of cuts by the provincial government, people are struggling, financially, mentally, physically. Our communities are in real trouble.

"Folks who work in retail, and in security services are faced with increased danger and violence more than ever before. This needs to be addressed.

- SFL President Lori Johb, speaking at the RWDSU convention in Humboldt

🚨We have an agreement! 🚨

Members of PSAC/UNDE Local 40807 have ratified a new three-year collective agreement with Sodexo following two weeks of strike action.

‘It is a good day when workers’ rights are respected and members achieve fair wages and benefits,’ said Marianne Hladun, Regional Executive Vice-President for the Prairies with the Public Service Alliance of Canada. ‘Credit belongs to the members who stood strong on the picket line and remained united throughout this process.’
