We are going ahead with the picnic, as the rain will stop prior to 5. Please bring lawn chairs if you have them to sit, as the ground will be too wet to lay a blanket on. See everyone at 5! Bring your loonies to buy some treats!

—McVeety Flowers need a Helping Hand!—
McVeety School has some lovely flower beds, recently planted by Grade 1 and Grade 6 students, at the front of the school which need regular watering and weeding over the summer months.
The school is looking for a few Hillsdale neighbours who would be willing to pop by to water the beds and do a bit of weeding over the summer months.
This is a really quick commitment to keeping Hillsdale bright this summer.
If you can spare 20 minutes every day, (if there are enough volunteers you would not be watering once a day, all summer- so, please offer what time you can for the summer months)please contact school admin assistant, Mrs. Smith at (306) 791-8492 to add your name to the volunteer roster and find out the details for accessing water for the McVeety flower beds. Your small commitment will keep the flowers blooming at McVeety.
