Protecting your online accounts, along with your MEPP member account, starts with a few steps:
- use strong and unique passwords that are hard to guess
- turn on multi-factor authentication (MFA) to add an added level of security if someone guesses your password

This October, we're raising awareness for Cyber Security!
Cyber Security Month is an initiative led by the Government of Canada (Get Cyber Safe) to help Canadians learn how to stay safe online.

Throughout the month, we'll be sharing some tips and tricks that will help you protect your devices and information.

Tip #1 - recognize cyber threats:
When browsing online, be sure to look out for suspicious messages or links, often known as 'phishing'.
Some phishing red flags include: urgent messaging, requests for sensitive information, unexpected emails, and suspicious attachments.
