Regina Police Association Regina Police Association represents approximately 650 uniform & civilian members of the Regina Police Police Service.

On February 24, 1944 a vote was taken and it was unanimously agreed that the Regina Police officers organize themselves into a local police union. This was the beginning of the Regina City Policemen's Association #155, under the National Union of Public Employees. Records indicate there were a total of 36 members. In 1976, civilian members of the Regina Police Service joined the Association, and on April 15th, 1992 the Association was incorporated and changed its name to the Regina Police Association Inc. Today the Regina Police Association represents approximately 565 full-time and part-time uniform and civilian members of the Regina Police Association. Our members are hard working professionals dedicated to keeping the City of Regina a safe place to live, work and visit.

Today is the annual Police and Peace Officers memorial in Saskatchewan. It is also the annual national memorial in Ottawa. The RPA would like to thank all those involved in organizing the annual event and all the members that came out today to remember those that have fallen in the line of duty.

A special thank you to all the members that participated in the annual Saskatchewan Police Memorial - Ride to Remember - a 400km ride from Saskatoon to Moose Jaw to Regina.

We remember them.

Today, the Regina Police Association joins in recognizing World Su***de Prevention Day.

Behind every uniform, every profession, and every community is a person who may be carrying more than others realize. Mental health struggles can affect anyone, and reaching out for support is a sign of strength—not weakness.

Today is a reminder to check in, listen without judgment, and let the people around you know they are not alone. Sometimes a simple “How are you really doing?” can open the door to a conversation that matters.

If you or someone you know is struggling, help is available. You don't have to face it alone.

The Regina Police Association is proud to recognize our 2026 Scholarship Recipients and the inspiring Community Heroes who have made a meaningful impact on their lives and in our community.

Last night, former RPA President Casey Ward, was honoured at the Canadian Police Association’s biennial conference. Casey served on the CPA board from 2015-2026 and worked to represent all the locals of the Saskatchewan Federation of Police Officers.

During his time on the CPA board, Casey performed a variety of duties but was undeniably known for his work around member mental health and wellness.

Thank you Casey for all your great work and good luck in your promotion to Inspector with the Regina Police Service!
