Columbus House - Renfrew Site

Columbus House - Renfrew Site Residential programs for youth. Young Parent Support and education day program with licensed child care. Licensed childcare is open to community members as well.

The Renfrew classroom is an alternate site for Adult Education through the RCDSB. A teacher is on-site each morning. Young parents may enroll in Renfrew up to 24 years of age.

County of Renfrew is graciously offering free training to all families and/or caregivers who would like to learn more about supporting Children's Mental Health. If this is something that interests you please see the description and registration link below. Registration is required and will be open until the time of the event.

Are you a parent or caregiver who is interested in supporting your child’s well-being? Do you want to relieve some of the pressure and confusion around raising children in these rapidly-changing and complex times? In this session, we will explore what it means for children to be truly ‘well’ in today’s world—and the practical strategies and approaches you can use to help them get there. We will also learn what makes us truly ‘well’—beyond over-generalized concepts of “self-care”—which can often feel unrealistic and only add to our never-ending ‘to do’ lists. In the end, you will leave this session feeling empowered and ready to make impactful changes that will enhance well-being for you and your entire family!
