Golden Age Activity Centre

Golden Age Activity Centre We are a Seniors Active Living Centre in downtown Renfrew. We are a centre for seniors. We are open Monday to Friday from 10 AM to 3 PM.

We offer a range of activities and opportunities to socialize, exercise, create, and enjoy life together. We offer daily activities such as exercises, bingo, painting, carving, yoga, euchre, bid euchre, card games, movie and popcorn afternoons, presentations, lunch Wednesday’s and Friday’s, and music Friday afternoons. Come in and have a coffee, sit in our Chat Corner and meet a new friend. This w

ill give you the opportunity to see what our Centre has to offer. We also offer many special events that might interest you. Check out our Calendar each month.

We are thrilled to announce our upcoming Memorial Butterfly 🦋 Release event.
Join us Sunday, August 30 from 11am to 12pm at the O’Brien Park in Renfrew (at the Swinging Bridge).
Butterflies 🦋 can be purchased in memory of a cherished loved one and released.
More details of the ceremony will be announced at a later date.

Our centre got a little brighter this week! Thanks to Bruce, one of our handy Tuesday carvers, for donating a handmade window box. Our co-op student, Autumn, and program assistant, Ashley, got right to work filling it with brightly coloured flowers to help brighten up our window.
