Looking for work or interested in learning more about employment resources available in Revelstoke?

Join us next Tuesday, October 20, when WorkBC will be visiting Drop-In from 3:15–4:00 PM.

Community Drop-In is a welcoming, low-barrier space where people can connect with local services and access support. Whether you're looking for help navigating housing or income supports, accessing community resources, or simply a place to connect, our team is here to help.

By bringing community partners like WorkBC directly to Drop-In, we hope to make it easier for people to find the information and support they need, all in one place.

Every child deserves the opportunity to belong, connect and thrive.

October is Canadian Autism Acceptance Month, an opportunity to learn more about autism, celebrate neurodiversity and recognize the importance of creating inclusive spaces for everyone.

While awareness has grown, there is still more we can do to build understanding, challenge misconceptions and ensure autistic children and youth have meaningful opportunities to participate and connect.

At Community Connections, our Supported Child Development Program (SCDP) works alongside families and community partners to help children and youth with diverse abilities access inclusive opportunities, build relationships and participate in community life.

Because every child deserves the opportunity to belong, connect and thrive.

Mountain views, fresh air and great company — the perfect way to wrap up a summer of adventures! ☀️

Our Healthy Aging group headed to Mount Revelstoke National Park for one final summer outing, taking in the spectacular scenery along the Meadows in the Sky Parkway!

Thanks to the support of Tourism Revelstoke, the group travelled with Revelstoke Transfers, enjoying a delicious picnic, breathtaking mountain views and time together in the great outdoors.

These outings are about so much more than enjoying our beautiful surroundings. They create opportunities for older adults to build friendships, stay active and feel connected to one another and the places around them.

What a wonderful way to finish a summer of adventures! 🍃

This Thanksgiving, we're grateful for the people, volunteers, partners and supporters who help make our work possible.

🥫 Fighting Hunger, Fueling Hope!

Our 15th Annual Emergency Services Food Drive was a huge success! 💛

Together, we collected 6,700+ lbs of food and raised over $7,700, helping keep shelves stocked and families nourished through winter.

Huge thanks to our amazing Emergency Services teams, Parks Canada, RCMP, BC Ambulance, Fire Rescue and SAR, plus local businesses and 170 volunteers!

Did you know?

Last month, our Community Support Program provided individualized support to nearly 60 people in our community.

Life changes and challenges can come with complicated systems, applications and questions about where to turn. Our Community Support Program provides free support, information, education and resources to help people navigate these situations and move forward.

That might mean help accessing housing and income supports, understanding tenancy rights, applying for disability or government benefits, replacing identification, or connecting with other resources that can improve stability and wellbeing.

Need support or not sure where to start? Join us at Community Drop-In every Tuesday and Thursday to learn how we can help.

🍂 Keep moving with Walking Club this fall!

We're making the most of the beautiful fall colours and fresh autumn air! Our Walking Club will continue meeting outdoors throughout October, enjoying the changing seasons together.

🏠 Starting November: We'll move indoors, with Walking Club taking place at the Community Centre at 11am

Whether you're looking to stay active, enjoy some fresh air or connect with others, Walking Club is a great way to keep moving and socializing!
