Victoria started in the automotive program at Vancouver Island University, drawn by her love of hot rods. But once she got hands-on, she realized working on cars wasn't the right fit. She decided to explore new options — and when she found welding, it just clicked.

Today, Victoria is a superintendent in the school's welding shop, a role she worked hard to earn and takes real pride in. Looking ahead, she wants to become a welding instructor and help train the next generation of welding students.

Victoria’s journey shows it's okay to explore different paths and pursue what excites you. Every path you explore builds skills, confidence and opens doors you might not have considered.
