The Baytex Aquatic Centre is officially closed for the season!

Thank you to everyone who visited us this summer, your support makes this pool such a valued part of our community. 💙

Also a big thank you to our lifeguards who made this season possible! 👏 We wish you all the best as you head back to school. 🎓

All good things must come to an end… The last day to swim at the outdoor pool this season is August 30.

To help you soak up every last bit of sunshine, we’ve added extra public swim times Monday–Friday mornings this upcoming week!

Update to Town of Rimbey facility hours for August Long Weekend:

On Saturday, August 1:
🧘Drop-In Pilates will be cancelled.
🏊 Baytex Aquatic Centre hours are as usual.

On Sunday, August 2:
🏊 Baytex Aquatic Centre hours are as usual.

On Monday, August 3:
💼 All Town Offices will be closed.
🏊 Public Swim at the Baytex Aquatic Centre will be 11 am - 5 pm.

🚨 For Public Works emergencies, please call 403-704-3332.

On Tuesday, August 4:
✅ Regular office hours and Drop-In schedules resume.

This week (July 19-25) is National Drowning Prevention Week!

🦺 Safety starts with a simple step—remind everyone to buckle up their lifejackets. Whether you’re boating, paddling, or fishing, a lifejacket can save a life. Look out for each other and make safety a priority on the water. Choose it, use it!

🌊 Stop by the Baytex Aquatic Centre and ask a lifeguard for more details about the activities planned including:
- Participate in the Swim to Survive Challenge
- Complete a scavenger hunt to be entered in a draw for a prize

TOONIE SWIM TODAY FROM 1:30-7:30 PM

This week (July 19-25) is National Drowning Prevention Week!

🏊 Many drowning victims never intended to enter the water. Swimming is a lifesaving skill learned best together. Take lessons as a family or support a child's water confidence. Make swimming a shared experience.
