🎉 We’re excited to share something you may not know!

We’re incredibly grateful to the Rimbey Lions Club for graciously sponsoring three free family swims this summer. ☀️🏊

Join us for the first sponsored swim this Sunday from 1:30–3:30 PM and help the Lions celebrate 80 years of contributions to our community.

Unfortunately, the Baytex Aquatic Centre will be closed this weekend and into next week due to a tear in the pool liner that caused a significant water leak.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate everyone's patience as we work to address the issue.

On a positive note, a new pool liner was approved by Council during the 2026 budget deliberations. The replacement project is scheduled to begin following the 2026 pool season, with final installation and finishing touches to be completed before the start of the 2027 season.

We will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available. Thank you for your understanding and support.

📝 Registration takes place today at Keyera Place (5109 54 Street) from 10am–12pm and 4pm–6pm. Please bring your completed registration form.

📞 To help accommodate registration, the Community Centre will not be answering phones during registration sessions today.

Drop-In Program Updates below!

The following programs will be affected due to Swimming Lesson Registration and RCHHS Senior and Family Fun Fair:

- Wednesday Morning Pickleball is cancelled.
- Wednesday Evening Badminton & Volleyball is cancelled.
- Thursday Gentle Movement is moved to the Upper Aud.
- Thursday Afternoon Pickleball is cancelled.
- Thursday Youth/Family Pickleball & Badminton runs 5-6pm.
- Thursday Evening Pickleball runs 6:30-8:30pm.

Programs resume regular schedules Friday, June 5, 2026.

Reminder that as we celebrate Senior's Week, all Drop-In Programs are free for seniors (65+) to attend!

Rimbey Aquatic Centre Closure Notice

Due to weather conditions, the Rimbey Aquatic Centre will be closed for the remainder of the day on June 2, 2026.

School pool rentals will still be open, at the school's discretion.

As outlined in our weather policy, the Outdoor Aquatic Centre may be cleared and closed when the air temperature is 10°C or below and will be closed for the remainder of the day if temperatures remain at or below 10°C by 1:00 p.m.
